For my project 3 redesign, I changed my idea from doing the Avengers cards, to the Butterfinger candy because I felt that the Avengers idea was way to challenging. So with my new idea, I decided to create a satire of the original Butterfinger candy. The first thing that I did was change the color of name "Butter" and make the color look like butter since the original has the name all blue. I then changed the color of the word "finger" and made it look like the color of skin, specifically more like a brown skin to resemble the chocolate. Next, I erased the chocolate pieces that were originally there, and put a scan of my own finger, because the assignment required us to either put a scan or photograph that we have taken and implement it into the piece. After that, I decided to change the original box color of Butterfinger, which is actually a yellow color to a red color because I wanted it to resemble blood because of how the fingers are of human and the color just creates this box of bloody "Butterfinger" candy. Next, I created the "New" text to also create a satire. I also did many other changes to it, but I still wanted the product to resemble Butterfinger, and not make an entirely new, unrecognizable product.
